This is my new favorite, favorite, favorite ranch dip recipe! It tastes exactly like the packaged ranch seasoning (without the junk ingredients & powdered buttermilk) that you stir into sour cream. And it has no funny aftertaste like most dairy free dips or dressings.
It can be used as a 1:1 replacement in any recipe that calls for a packet of dry ranch seasoning or you can use it for dip or for salad dressing. To use it as a dip see my instructions below :)
- 2 Tbsp Dried Parsley
- 1 Tsp. Garlic Powder
- 1 Tsp. Onion Powder
- 1/4 Tsp. Pepper
- 1/2 Tsp. Sea Salt
- 1/4 Tsp. Dill
1. Mix all ingredients well. Store in a sealed container at room temperature.
To make dip or salad dressing:
Mix the above seasonings into 3/4 C Vegenaise (mayonnaise), 1/4 C Dairy Free Sour Cream or Dairy Free Plain Greek Yogurt, and 1/2 Tsp. Lemon Juice (more to taste). Use a milk alternative to thin out as needed for dressing. Choose your milk alternative carefully as it will effect the taste. I prefer SO Delicious coconut creamer because I think it has a very neutral flavor.
